From Monterey,CA.
Kenny Miller - Guitar,Vocals
The Poor Souls were together from the mid to late sixties playing all around Monterey County at dances, fairs, and concerts. They were managed by Monterey Dee-Jay Norman Flint who took them to record at Golden State Recorders in San Francisco in 1967. "I'll Be Around" was scheduled to be the flip side of their single "Baby Let's Wait" but when the record came out it was replaced with "It Ain't Enough". It might have been because of the lyric "maybe what you need is a good shot of booze". The single went to number 5 on the Austrailian hit parade. They later changed their name to High. "I'll Be Around" was finally released on the Ace Records compilation CD "Crystalize Your Mind" in 1994 Click on a song title below to hear that song.
